Great coffe, great service, great people, nice weather... what more can you ask for???
Zumbach's Specialy Coffee is one of the coolest little coffee joints I have ever been to. I used to get morning coffee there before work as a tile marble installer, working for a friend Brian J. Being that I was only 16 at the time I didnt realize what a hidden jem this place was until now!
Mondays are a special day for the Misses and I, it's our sabbath, our only real day off from ministry and work. We like to go for early morning walk in to town (New Canaan) and then venture to Zumback's for our vente iced cappuccino with vanilla flavoring. They have these really cute round table out front where we sit and chat about nothing and everything... The people we meet there are a dime a dozen, grade A folks... Some rich, some not so rich, black, white and everything in between! It seems like the people who come to this mom and pop coffee spot are authentic and genuine, as opposed to the ones who go to the other commercial coffee spot in town. You know the ones who drive over sized SUV's and have nothing better to do but scoff and gauck at the middle class driving average middle class cars... lol... Dont get me wrong I have and probably will visit this same place again, but to be absolutely honest, I would rather spend my $3.25 at a place where I feel welcomed and not snuffed at... Zumbach's is the place to be! If you're ever in New Canaan Ct, with a little help you would be more then pleased to visit this place.
