Life

Life

What is the purpose of life? Have you ever asked that question? I have, and I believe I may have found that answer! From the beginning of time, whether we were created from the ground or from The Hand of A Supreme Being(!) Man's intrinsic nature was to create or produce something, whether it was shelter, tools, weapons, even life it self!!! Man (in general) was created to reproduce himself, only by way of his help-mate woman! Man could not and still can not physically procreate on his own, however, when a man and woman create a life, there are certain instincts that move them to protect and nurture that creation. Then as that creature (boy or girl) starts to grow and mature the desire to teach the basic fundamentals of life comes in to play. Whether the mother or father or both parents provide it, guidance and direction is needed in order to survive and become the person that he or she was created to be. In return, that person will one day do the same. Through reproduction (to create, multiply, procreate, mimic, copy) and the following; guidance, leading, protecting and nurturing its own creation, so that the circle of life will continue...

In life, I believe that’s just it. We need to reproduce our self in others by guiding, mentoring, and disciplining. One day long ago there was a man. This man was not well known although many people new him and what he did. This man was not rich he had only what he needed as he traveled. Many people provided food and gave him things as he needed them. He traveled the street of his surrounding country teaching what he had learned and what his Father had taught him. I know this man knew (to regard as true beyond doubt) the principal of reproduction (or multiplication). People would stand in awe of his infinite wisdom and knowledge. Many of them would follow him where ever he went just to hear what he had to say and teach. This man chose twelve men, men of that land, men who probably had families and jobs. He said to them "come follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." But what did that mean? I believe it meant, come follow me, listen to what I have to say, receive what I have to give. Learn from me, know me so that in time you can be sent out to do the same in another life... This man was Jesus. He was crucified soon (3 years) after his ministry began. He knew (to regard as true beyond doubt) what it meant to multiply your self. Jesus left a lasting effect, to this day, on the world as we know it. To leave a positive mark (a lasting effect, a standard of quality) on ones life is a key in order to know what the true purpose of life is about... To effect the world around you and multiply! To live a life of righteousness and honor unto The Supreme Being, God! And to bring others up that same path so that in return they can have the same lasting effect!!! This is the purpose of life, not to have money, hot cars, a house, and a good job. But to multiply your self and Christ in others. To leave a lasting affect on the world around you...

When you die years from now what can you say. What can they say? What will they say of you? That you had a great personality or that you were good looking???!?!?! Are you leaving your Mark (a lasting effect, a standard of quality) on your world! Will you be held accountably for the people you could have reached or should have? No! You will be held accountable for the people you did touch! The ones that were affected by you. Jesus said "come and follow me, I will make you fishers of men!" If you follow him he will do the miraculous work. Don’t live a life of complacency and stagnisity (being stagnant). Live a life not unto your self but unto a God that wants you to have that lasting effect.

In conclusion, whether reproducing your self in a physical being (baby) or reproducing your self and your character in someone else’s life, the instinct (A powerful motivation or impulse. The natural capability) to nurture, guide, love and protect is there! With a little time and help from above you can find it!!!!
